Nick Brown

Nick’s practice includes work in criminal law, civil litigation, municipal law, real estate, military/veteran law, business law, domestic relations, estate planning, landlord-tenant issues, and consumer law, among other general advice. 

In addition to our office, Nick serves as a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve’s Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corp in Columbus, Ohio.  His responsibilities are to provide commanders and service members with legal advice and assistance. 

Prior to his time with us, Nick served as an Assistant Prosecutor with the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office.  He represented the State in criminal matters to result in the best interest of the community’s safety. 

Prior to his legal career, Nick served his country in the U.S. Army Special Operations Command (Airborne) as a psychological operations sergeant.  His service included four (4) years in active duty, two (2) years in reserve duty (while in law school), and two (2) tours of duty in Afghanistan.  

He earned his B.A. in Political Science from Kent State University (’08), his M.B.A. from the Jack Welch Management Institute (’14), and his J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law (’16).

Nick is the proud husband of Sarah, father of Will and Parker Jane (“PJ”) with another due in 2021, and owner (“father”) of Loki and Lola.  He and his family enjoy staying busy outside as much as Northeast Ohio’s weather allows it and getting through the woes of being Cleveland sports fans. 

Nick is originally from Geneva, Ohio.  He and his family recently moved from Bay Village, Ohio and currently reside in Willoughby, Ohio.
